My friend Sal hit me up this winter to be a part of a black & white photo show at a cool coffee shop/bar in downtown Detroit. Looking back to the last couple years I haven’t shot much BW film. So, the original idea was to use a few photos from 2019, 2021 and then shoot a few new rolls to start out 2025. I ended up shooting a couple rolls of tri-x mostly at the conservatory, and I liked some of the results. I was happy to start the year off in a different way. It definitely reminded me to shoot more BW film in the future. The show opened March 28th and runs for one month. These are the photos I chose, congrats to all involved!
