I am always really hyped when a new 35mm film comes out. It gives me a new reason to go out and just enjoy the little things and not try so hard. Also, the surprise of getting the scans back is even greater when you are testing out a new film! Previously, I’ve loved messing around with the Lomography Films (turquoise, purple) and I figured this one would be most similar to the turquoise one. I bought a few rolls and was very surprised with the results, in a good way! I love what I got with it and highly recommend getting some for yourself!
Above is a side-by-side comparison of this film shot at night compared to Kodak Ektar 100. Below a couple great examples of the color shifts in this film. This flower in real life is yellow, and the background is mostly green in color.
I developed and scanned my film at Express Photo in Livonia, MI. I shot the film at 125 box speed with a Nikon F100, and Minolta x700. I also used some Macro filters, as well as some Prism Lens filters. Going into it I really wanted to see what this film looked like at dusk, and nighttime. In my opinion it did not disappoint! I personally like the orange looking tone during the day, and the different color shifts.
