A few random photos from a roll of film I shot when it was cold out that I forgot about.
A little while ago I was told about a spot by my very nice friend Jeff. When I first saw it I knew we needed to add a bit of cement to make it better. Pat and I decided to go one weeknight a few days before the weekend so we could cement it and then give it a few days to cure. Everything went super well we got the cement mixed, it took less time then we thought, and even less cement. Once we were finalizing it someone came on the loudspeaker at the business next door and yelled “we see you,” “get the fuck off the property,” and “we have called the cops.” We finished the last touches but knew they were probably going to destroy it anyway. Once the weekend hit we still planned to skate it. We brought signs and anything that we could use to skate it even if they messed it up. When we got there we learned they did destroy it. However we wouldn’t give up, they still left the gate wide open so we duct taped two signs to it and did our best to skate it. It wasn’t easy but we had the neighbors filming us and they were hyped to see what we were doing. June 21st is the longest day of the year, it is also go skateboarding day. I knew this one was going to be very special because we collaborated with Pluskateboarding, NikeSB, and REAL Skateboards to throw a event at the wig. There were free tacos provided by Nike, and REAL was giving our friend Dan Mancina, who recently went blind, a board with his name on it in braille. We had an extremely good turnout I am pretty sure it was the most people we've ever had at the wig since we built it. Here is a few photos from throughout the day.
I shot a couple rolls of Dustin Adams "Psychadelic Blues" film. He takes rolls of 35mm Kodak film and exposes it to light. When a friend from out of town came back for a weekend I decided to finally go to this crazy abandoned factory that I had seen people going to lately. The whole weekend it rained so we just explored a bunch of new stuff. This place was way more messed up then I thought it would be, and had sooo many sports cards everywhere. Luckily I was able to find some 1997 Detroit Tigers full team cards. I hadn’t explored a building in awhile so I was very paranoid, and kept thinking I was going to get caught. Below are a few photos with Kodak 3200 film. Hyped on the way it looks in such dark rainy conditions.
I spent the last weekend of March in New York. I always wanted to go but had never pulled the trigger. The main reason for going was to go to Jenkem's new book release party. As well as skate, wander around, and see friends. I figured it'd be a perfect time to try out a roll of the recently resurrected Kodak tmax 3200. Pretty hyped on how the photos came out! Randomly was walking towards the World Trade Center and spotted a couple people skating this, and watching for cops/traffic. It was hectic for sure. I asked one of the guys if I could shoot one of the tries and they said yes. Then I asked what the dudes name was. They told me his name was Tino Del Zotto. I looked him up on Instagram and the first clip was him landing this trick. Stoked to see him get it and get the shot!

Overall a great trip! I definitely want to go back once its warmer. Thank you to Jenkem, Derrick, Pogo, Steve, Jeremy, Garrett, Hendy, Bobby, Graver, Pat Smith, Jake, and anyone else we chilled with! Recently got a roll of Ilford hp-5 that was in my stylus developed. I actually forgot there was a few shots from PR on it. A nice little surprise.

Here’s a few photos from the 2018 Nain Rouge Parade. I had few shots left on a roll of Portra 400. This year it was going down second ave which was basically outside my front door so we had to go! Definitely one of the most fun days of the year. Shot with a Minolta x570.
